Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Modified Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3rd Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in nursing with cardiac telemetry care experience License: Current state Registered Nurse License or a multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the Nurse Licensure Compact Certifications: - American Heart Association Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an approved equivalent - AHA HeartCode Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) for healthcare providers or an approved equivalent Must-Have: - Cardiac telemetry care experience - Knowledge of nursing theory and practice Description: The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment. This individual demonstrates competency in the delivery of care to a primarily adult population. Essential functions have been adapted from the ANA Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice. Experience working with a diverse patient population including myocardial infarction, congestive heart failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, strokes, stable arrhythmias, and other patients needing closer cardiac monitoring and assessment is required. Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice is necessary for licensure as a Registered Nurse. About Cynet Health
