Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year in Cardiac Tele, PCU, Tele License: Valid Compact License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS (Preferred) Must-Have: Experience with telemetry and cardiac care Description: Registered Nurse needed for the Progressive Care Unit. Shifts are 3 nights per week from 19:00 to 07:30. Candidates should possess a minimum of 1 year of experience in Cardiac Telemetry, PCU, or Tele. Certifications required include BLS and ACLS. Candidates need to be comfortable floating to like units within scope. Weekend coverage will be required every other weekend. Patient diagnoses include a variety of cardiac and medical conditions. Experience in managing cardiac drips and patient telemetry is essential. Candidates should have skills in performing procedural sedation monitoring and managing dysrhythmias. Daily census may be approximately 27 patients with a ratio of 4 per nurse. Interdisciplinary support is provided by various specialists including Physical Therapy and Respiratory Services. Candidates should be familiar with using a specific charting system. This position requires adherence to infection control protocols and other safety measures. References covering the last 1 year of experience will be requested. Candidates may be expected to float between nearby facilities as needed. About Cynet Health
