Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ years License: Active TX RN License Only Certifications: ACLS BLS Must-Have: Previous critical-care experience ACLS certification BLS certification 2+ years of hospital/specialty experience Description: Provide high-quality care to patients in a progressive care setting. Recognize the unique needs of each patient to improve service delivery. Demonstrate patient-focused care with a commitment to well-being. Engage in a collaborative environment with supportive staff. Participate in patient assessments, monitoring, and supportive care. Provide emergency response and intervention as needed. Utilize telemetry monitoring and manage various IV drips. Work in a split unit with resources available for patient support. Maintain a clean and professional appearance in accordance with dress codes. Follow unit guidelines for floating and attendance.
