Job Title: Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Radiology RN Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 4x10.0 Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent interventional radiology experience License: New York RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - BLS (AHA) - ACLS (AHA) - Telemetry experience - Minimum 1 year of recent interventional radiology experience Description: Exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, state-of-the-art environment. The role involves providing specialized patient care to adult inpatients and outpatients. You will be involved in interventional radiology procedures such as biopsies, embolizations, ablations, angiography, and drain placements. Responsibilities include preparing patients, intra-procedure monitoring, and post-procedure recovery. You will work in the PACU and extended stay (23-hour) settings as needed. This position plays an essential role in the critical embolization response team for trauma patients. The role requires critical thinking and strong communication skills. The ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment is crucial. As an IR RN, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient-centered care. You will be required to wear hospital-issued and laundered scrub pants and tops as well as follow other infection prevention measures in procedural areas. About Cynet Health
