Digestive Disease Consultants is a busy gastroenterology practice located in Altamonte Springs with satellite offices in Lake Mary and Oviedo. We are seeking dynamic, organized, and professional individuals to join our team.

Position Requirements:

• Customer service/phone operator 1-year experience; preferably in a medical clinic setting.
• Must have excellent customer service skills.
• Must be able to answer high call volume.
• Multitask with accuracy and communicate clearly.
• Maintain HIPAA guidelines and business practices.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Answer incoming calls and route them accordingly.
• Schedule, cancel and reschedule new and established patient appointments.
• Obtain and verify patient demographic and insurance information.
• Input new and updated patient information into the EMR.
• Assist with faxes and forwarding documentation to the appropriate person.
• Other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
• Ability to view a computer screen for extended periods of time.
• Ability to perform repetitive hand and wrist motions for extended periods of time.
• Ability to converse and hear over the phone and in person in a professional manner.

Work Conditions:

• Work is performed in an office work environment.
• Very limited physical effort is required.
• Limited exposure to physical risk.

Job Type: Full-time, Monday- Friday.
